J. Dopman Berkeley Experiential Senior Transition

The information being put on these websites are the result of an iterative process between teacher, parent and student. Presently, we think we've solved most of the major logistical problems, however you still can expect format and content changes as we respond to feedback. Let us know of any glaring problems. power point presentations.  

NOTE: Students will NOT earn credit for this class if they do not have a
final paper AND a powerpoint presentation.  

Final Paper due June 2nd

Week of 10 September 2007
Students should be working on these assignments continually: 

- Journal; 10 entries about their field work; 10 entries in reaction to
current events

- Five year plan; Final document will be created, outlining their plan for
the next five years of thier life. 

- Senior Research Project: The main focus of the class, developing a
proposal, research question, plan of action, field work, data collection,
and then compliation of all work to be presented in the spring.  Final
work will culminate in a PowerPoint presentation and a final research
paper.
